What to expect

Gentle movement for the littlest ones

Baby Circus introduces babies aged 8 months to 1.5 years to the joy of movement and guided exploration through the parent-child bond. This 45-minute class is designed specifically for babies who crawl or walk, meeting your child exactly where they are in their development.

What makes Baby Circus special

Circus classes for babies develop a wide range of skills and create the foundation for a lifetime of confident, joyful movement. Through playing with soft circus props, guided movement tasks, and sensory experiences — varied textures, sounds, colours, and materials — babies develop motor skills naturally while bonding with their parent or caregiver.

Class structure

Each 45-minute session includes exploratory play with circus props (soft balls, scarves, different textures), balance activities, and gentle crawling circuits. Parents participate actively, learning activities they can continue at home.

The parent's role

You're not just watching from the side — you're your baby's first movement instructor! You actively support your baby's natural developmental stages through gentle exercises and encouraging feedback. Through this shared physical experience, you strengthen your bond while giving your child the confidence to explore new challenges with you right beside them.

Prerequisites

No previous experience required.

Perfect for babies who:

  • Are 8 months to 1.5 years old
  • Crawl or walk
  • Are curious and ready to explore movement
  • Feel comfortable in new environments with parent present

One parent or caregiver must participate fully throughout the class — this is a shared experience, not a drop-off session. Your child's developmental stage matters more than their exact chronological age. If you're unsure whether your child is ready, feel free to reach out and we'll help you find the right fit.

Please give your child your full attention. We ask that you do not use your phone during class. You are welcome to take photos of your own child.

What to bring: Comfortable clothing for baby and parent (you'll be on the floor!), water bottle, and any comfort toys for baby. Nappy is mandatory for all babies.

Note: Class size limited to 12 babies to ensure individual attention.
