This class is the perfect starting point for children who want to explore circus arts. It introduces both floor acrobatics (handstands, cartwheels, bridges) and aerial elements (fabric/silks basics) in a safe, supportive environment where everyone feels comfortable.
Sessions cover both floor and aerial acrobatics in equal measure. You'll learn foundational skills on the ground while getting to explore the captivating world of aerial arts. The variety keeps training exciting and well-rounded.
This class is designed for beginners. We start from the basics and teach technique carefully before progressing to more advanced movements. Everyone advances at their own pace in a comfortable, encouraging atmosphere.

Handstand foundations — Safe, supported handstand development building upper body strength and spatial awareness.
Cartwheel technique and variations — Developing coordination, weight transfer, and control through sideways rotation.
Back bends and splits stretching — Progressive flexibility work for backbends, bridges, and front splits.
Aerial fabric basics — Climbing, foundational wraps, and supported positions on fabric, building grip endurance and body awareness in the air.
Core strength for aerial and acrobatic skills — The deep core control needed to hold positions both on the ground and in the air.
Acrobatics-specific flexibility training — Integrated stretching and strengthening designed for the demands of both floor and aerial training.
Safe falling and body awareness — Understanding how to control movement through space, whether on the floor or suspended in the air.
Building confidence through new physical challenges — Learning to feel confident upside down and off the ground in a supportive environment.
No previous experience required. This class is designed as an entry point for students interested in exploring both floor-based acrobatics and aerial circus disciplines.
Students should be comfortable with the idea of being upside down and off the ground — a willingness to try heights and inversions is more important than prior skill. The instructor works progressively with each student to build comfort and confidence at their own pace.
For students:
What to wear: Fitted activewear (leggings and a fitted top), no jewellery, hair tied back.
Not sure if this is the right fit? Book a trial class (€25) to let your child experience both the floor and aerial elements firsthand. The trial fee is credited toward enrollment if they join.
