January 12, 2026 → May 30, 2026 (18 weeks)
February 16-22, 2026 (Winter holiday)
March 30 - April 6, 2026 (Easter)

Circus Acro Intermediate Teens is a 90-minute weekly class for students ages 10–15 who are ready to move beyond fundamental skills and into more complex acrobatics and creative expression.
This is where training starts to feel like art. Students progress through Levels 3–4 on the level card system, working on advanced combinations, handstand variations, and partner acrobatics. The extended 90-minute format gives students the time they need for proper warm-up, focused skill work, stretching, and conditioning — everything that makes the difference at this stage.
Intermediate and advanced students train together in this session, which means your child will be challenged by peers at different stages while receiving instruction tailored to their current level. It's a dynamic environment that builds motivation and shows students what's ahead. Many students at this stage begin supplementing with private lessons or small group sessions to accelerate progress on specific skills they want to master.
Regular stretching and strength conditioning are woven into every class, building the physical foundation needed for safely progressing to advanced-level work. The level card system continues to provide clear benchmarks so both students and parents can see exactly where they are and what they're working toward.
Classes run once per week on Wednesdays (18:30–20:00) as part of an 18-week semester. A progress update is provided mid-semester, and one makeup class is available per semester.

At the intermediate level, students transition from executing individual skills to combining them with control, confidence, and early artistic awareness.
Advanced acrobatic combinations — linking skills into sequences rather than performing them in isolation
Complex handstand variations — building control, alignment, and hold time beyond basic wall-supported handstands
Partner acrobatics basics — supported balances, and learning to move with and trust another person
Level card progression — structured advancement through Levels 3–4 with clear skill benchmarks
Cartwheel and walkover development — progressing from basic cartwheels toward one-handed variations, front and back walkovers
Flexibility development — dedicated stretching work targeting the range of motion needed for intermediate and advanced skills
Strength conditioning — targeted exercises that build the specific muscle groups acrobatics demands
Circus props — expanded work with juggling, balance equipment, and performance tools
Body awareness and control — learning to self-correct, understand proper form, and execute skills with intention
Students must have completed the Acro Basics requirements or demonstrate equivalent skills from another school or sport. Specifically, your child should be able to perform forward and backward rolls, hold a handstand against the wall with feet together easily, walk a few steps on their hands, get into a bridge and stand up from it, and perform a cartwheel. If you're unsure whether your child is ready, book a trial class — the instructor will assess their level and recommend the right placement.
